2009 Terra Valentine "Marriage". don't know the blend here but seems mostly Merlot and Cab. Very well integrated now but may develop some secondary flavors down the road. Lots of black fruits with a tiny touch of herb but so well balanced that no single element jumped out at me. very nice but will never be a "WOW" wine . abv of 14.9% iirc
2014 Ilaria Napa Rutherford Cabernet. I gave this baby 7 hours of decant time and probably glad I did. Pretty smooth tannins but still evident. The black currant and a very nice spicey note were obvious. Again this wine could use 5+ more years to bring out some added complexity but very enjoyable now. abv of 14.4% iirc

I work with someone named Ilaria. Where the heck did you find that wine?
