WTN: 2015 Dashe Petite Sirah Louvau Vineyard

We opened this bottle last night to sip with Westworld!!!!

A very pleasant take on PS. I am not a fan of the big goopy blackberry-juice-tannins-and-alcohol a la Michael David, and as with most Dashe wines that is not the case here. Certainly some PS tannins. Definitely some fruit. But there is a delicious (to me) savory herbal note I enjoy in more restrained Petite Sirah bottlings. A very nice, earthy, savory, herbal wine.

A Behrens & Hitchcock PS I once had may have met your criteria for the savory note, but that might be the only one ever. It's not a grape I seek out, though it finds me now and then. This sounds good--I'd grab a bottle, if I were lucky enough to find it, based on your description.

Preston Family (also Dry Creek) can be good as well, although I remember bigger fruit than in this restrained bottling!
