2014 Pax Syrah The Hermit - USA, California, North Coast (5/1/2018)The bottle showed very well as a pop and pour, with lots of red/black fruit, savory depth and a clean, flavorful finish with a moderate level of tannin. The level of fruit makes it easy to drink now, and provides stuffing for moderate aging. I would expect this could be better in 2-4 years, but would not use it for long keeping. There's no need, as it's fun to drink.
