Western Cape, South Africa.
From Anura Vnyd-Simondum.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (37 per cent), Merlot (36). Pinotage (22) and Shiraz(5).

Dark purple in the glass.

A big nose, with leather, earth and black licorice.

Very rich, stewed cherries, acidic tang, loads of earth and leather. A bit extreme, with the almost overpowering earth, barnyard and leather, but still ejoyable.

Long, long finish of earth and leather.

Purchased at $15.95 (Canadian).
