2015 Farnese Fantini Montepulciano d'Abruzzo
Ordered in an Italian restaurant last night. Good body, great mouthfeel and flavor. Very balanced with a good sense of place--you wouldn't mistake it for anything but Italian. A crowd pleaser and more modern than rustic but still outstanding for what it is, and probably $10 on the shelf.

Fantini sounds like a gin drink for hot weather!

LOL, doesn't it? I gave up trying to think of a good pun for the title so I went with the barenekkid facts.
