2014 Luneau-Papin / Domaine Pierre de la Grange Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine Vieilles Vignes Sur Lie Clos des Allées Melon de Bourgogne
Major dud. Day one: screechy acidity, almost no fruit. Put it back in the fridge.
Four days later: the fruit's here, but it's overly ripe and oxidative. Fed it to the camellias.

2013 Ross Andrew Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Red Mountain
(Ross Andrew makes wine in a savory, restrained style compared to most Washington winemakers.) Okay so I said next bottle would be 2019 but look what I went and did! Showed well, actually, with some good dusty notes I don't remember in prior bottles, but needs more time for secondary development. Next bottle: 2020.

2015 Tenet Wines Syrah The Pundit Columbia Valley
Fourth vintage of this I've had; on the young side for a PnP, but the fruit is clean with good acidity and tannins for bottle-aging over the next five-eight years. Great QPR.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
