2009 Hexamer Meddersheimer Rheingrafenberg Riesling Spätlese ** - Germany, Nahe (11/26/2017)
I drank a bottle of this a year ago, and thought “that’s a big Auslese labeled as Spätlese.” I was wrong. That’s a Beerenauslese labeled as Spätlese. Holy cow it’s a big wine. It’s dessert rich, and has more power than three bottles of Spätlese in one. Pretty much the poster child, not for pradikat creep, but pradikat launch!
