2003 Trimbach Riesling Cuvée "M" - France, Alsace (11/1/2017)Tasted over two nights, this was a real surprise from 2003. No heaviness, freshening acidity, and gently smoky nuances to the flavors, made for an immediately accessible, and enjoyable drink.

So an Alsace vineyard that starts with an M?
I had thought the recent Gaisberg was first (official) vineyard designated Trimbach,

I am not sure that just using 'M' really vineyard designates it.
Gaisberg is the first Grand Cru bottling from Trimbach. I just got my hands on some of their new Schlossberg bottling.

May I ask why the subject line "Judi Dench"?
Of course I know the actress, though her name is spelled with a "y". Also Google tells me the name can be rhyming slang for "stench" or "wrench", and "dench" by itself is a street word for "good". But I am still none the wiser about your subject line.

Dame Judith Dench (Judi) played M in several James Bond movies.

Ah! Thanks.
(And you are of course quite right about the spelIing. I am not sure how I decided she spells her name with a "y". Some dodgy website probably)
