Drinking New World, and like it!
Armador Cabernet Sauvignon 2004, Odfjell Vineards, Maipo valley, Chile
Ruby red colour. Lighter than I would expect.
On the nose there are first of all black currants, but also a sweet whif of peppers and vanilla/oak.
The taste is not to sweet though, a fine balance with good tannins and a dry finish. Some butterscotch in the aftertaste.
For me who rarely drink cab/Bordeaux it tastes like I "think it should" and I like it. It it also a good value wine at 100NOK/$16.
