2011 Dom. du Montmirail V.V. Gigondas; nice wine with very black color and nose of black cherry , eucalyptus and some herb, maybe oregano. The palate eventually morphs away from black cherry to plum but the herbal notes persist and dominate. Nice balance and I would think this has 10-12 years of evolution ahead. GSM make-up is 60-30-10 %. I should add more of this appellation to my cellar.
