These wines were never sold, legally. A true boutique winery from Humboldt, CA. The grapes came from a 2 acre plot in Salyer. Ed Oliveira's widow keeps the wines in her garage so I am told.

The cork was in bad shape, but the wine is pretty good considering.... The aroma is mix of merlot varietal fruit, cherry, very slight oxidization, and very slight cork.

The acid and tannin seem equal and pretty balanced. It is pretty dry but not overly dry. The acid is still a firm mix of lemon and dark cherry. It is pretty transluscent garnet colored without any sediment. If feels soft on the tougue. The finish is nice tannin. The bottle says 12% alc.
May all beings find happiness and the causes of happiness!!!!
