"I've got sunshine...on a Cloudy Bay."
2016 Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc
Very crisp, with a harmonious choir of just about everything one can find in kiwi Sauvignon Blanc--gooseberry, grass, white grapefruit, lime, lemon grass--with no one note standing out. The only thing lacking was the intensity I associate with the CB and the best NZ wines. It seemed a bit underpowered following a 2013 from Napa Valley.
