From a new producer to me, this delicious 2014 Elizabeth Spencer Special Cuvee Menocino County Sauvignon Blanc was really special last night. Super pale yellow. Loaded with white flowers on the nose and entry, with galia melon and a tiny bit of cut green grass. Good minerality and a lasting finish. If we were ever going to woo David Bueker into drinking sauvignon blanc, this one.

Aw come on! I was figuring as long as cat pee and gooseberry weren't involved, we might have you. The white flower thing reminded me of Riesling.
