2007 Turnbull Napa Oakville Syrah; still a bit young with prominent tannins but mellowing as we consumed it, the wine was very dark purple/black with lots of mulberry and plum flavors and gritty tannins. Very enjoyable but not especially complex. Maybe another 5+ years would bring out some interesting secondary complexity. I think it would probably stand up to that time.
abv of 15.1% and lots of sediment.
