2014 Ridge Lytton Springs - USA, California, Sonoma County, Dry Creek Valley (4/6/2017)
Served blind, this did not show as much of the youthful Ridge oak/exuberance as I would have expected, but rather a focused red/black berry fruit and some balanced acid/tannin structure. I did not get the depth that I normally find in the Lytton bottling. Not sure if it was a phase or if it's a lighter vintage of the wine, as I have only had this one.

Tried the 2013 vintage at Lytton Springs on Saturday. Did not really say "Zinfandel" to me, but as a fan of their Bordeaux varietal program, I liked it quite a bit!
