Did anyone else buy the $15 California tempranillo from Last Bottle? I'm doing a tempranillo tasting next month and thought this might be a good fill-in or even a pre-pour cheapie. It's the 2015 Straight Line made by a or the Turley winemaker. Can't remember the description accurately. So we just opened a bottle.

Day one: grapey, UGH. Simple Hawaiian punch flavors. Reminds me of Bojo Nouveau. Hated it.
Day two: it's changed! Bigger, fruit got blacker and more forceful, no more 'grapey'. But tannins rule.
Day three: damn this is pretty good. It's now a medium-to-full bodied, dark and crimson in the black, and everything's in balance. A very very nice wine. Incredible value.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
