Needed a red last night, so cracked:
1. GregoryPerez Brezo Dd'O: Bierzo (JosePastorSlctns; www.JosePastorSelections.com; www/Mengoba.com; 13%) Carracedelo 2015: Med.dark color; somewhat earthy/loamy quite peppery/black pepper/plummy/black cherry cola/RCCola slight floral/violets quite attractive/fragrant nose; bit soft/lush/ripestrong earthy/loamy/dusty/OV rather plummy/RCCola/black cherry light tangy/metallic/mineral bit rustic quite interesting flavor w/ light rough tannins; very long/lingering rich/lush bit tangy/metallic rather earthy/loamy/mineral some floral/plummy/RCCola/black cherry cola quite interesting bit rough/rustic finish w/ modest rough/gritty tannins; a very interesting rough/rustic red at a great price. $16.00 (AV)
