Tried this last night:
1. WalterGlatzer Rebencuvee Zweigelt Carnuntum RTW (13.0%; LN 11134/16; www.weingutglatzer.at/en/; SkurnikWines) Gottlesbrunn NV: Med.color; very strong plummy/raspberry/Zweigelt some floral/lilacs light earthy/loamy quite aromatic nose; rather soft/lush strong plummy/grapey/almost Mourv-like light loamy/earthy classic Zweigelt flavor w/ light soft/smooth tannins; long soft/ripe strong plummy/grapey/Zweigelt bit floral/lilacs some earthy/loamy finish w/ light soft tannins; an altogether pleasant bit simple 4-square Zweigelt; some like a Bojo and not a lot of structure but just a delicious red to knock back w/ gusto at a great price. $18.00 (AV)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Zweigelt: A cross developed in Austria of St.Laurent and Blaufrankisch. This is a classic expression of Zweigelt and not a particularly serious expression of the grape...just good/in-your-face drinking. Sometimes that's all you want.
