A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Not the light delicate fruity CB that I was expecting. Skin-contact whites are very different creatures from their destem & press varietal brethern. I wish winemakers would indicate on the btl, or in their release notes, when the white has been made w/ skin-contact and the drgree of such skin-contact.
I think, actually, this will be a quite interesting wine down the road w/ age. But for now, it's a bit painful to drink on its own.
These grapes come from, I believe, that Budha Temple there in Talmadge. Interesting/strange place and worth a detour.
