WTN: I drink and I Noellat things

2014 Alain Hudelot-Noellat Chambolle-Musigny - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny (3/11/2017)
Some wine community notes indicated that this wine was a bit hard/charmless. Well it does have some degree of youthful tightness, it is nicely balanced, and on the elegant end of the spectrum. Strawberry and cranberry fruit are accented by light spice and earthy notes. The tannins are not at all out of balance. I see no reason this will not blossom with several years of aging.

I don't drink enough Hudelot-Noellat.

Didn't they get into a major spat with their cousins, who ran Hudunot-Noetall?
