WTN: The jester stole his thorny crown

2014 Wind Gap Wines Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (2/14/2017)
Soft and supple, this is showing great finesse for such a young wine. Cranberry and strawberry fruit are buffered by fresh acidity and light earth and herb tones. There is plenty of depth for at least mid-term cellaring, though I wish there was a little bit of tannic structure to give the wine a bit more gravitas.
