2009 Kruger-Rumpf Münsterer Dautenpflänzer Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Nahe (2/7/2017)
Fun, fruity, showing more acidity than it did on release, and just enjoyable drinking. I wish I still had more, but there is always another vintage.

See, this is why you're a master at punning and I'm only a novice. Made me laugh out loud.

took me a few secs but I got it....David, you are still the MAN!..Back when I was drinking more Riesling than I do now, this was one of my favorites but I don't see KR in my local markets..I used to buy KR's Rieslings at Northside in Ithaca but we don't get down there anymore now that my daughter isn't playing in concerts at Ithaca College's School of Music.

Hi Jon,

Yeah, Northside in Ithaca always has a nice German section. If you do get to Ithaca, try to check out the newish shop Cellar d'Or on the Ithaca Commons - they too have some really nice bottles.

Hey, David. Yesterday I bought three bottles of reisling and four months ago I bought three bottles each of two different reislings. That's nine bottles, and a 900% increase over reisling purchases in the previous five years. Maybe there's hope for me.
