2007 Hendry Pinot Noir HRW Blocks 3 and 6, Napa Valley, CA

Note from CellarTracker. 13.2% abv. The vineyard is located on benchlands between Napa's Carneros and Mount Veeder viticultural districts. This is a drier site and a cooler climate. I find raspberry and pomegranate on the nose and palate. Of three recent California Pinots from 2007 and 2008, I thought this held up best.

I believe I still have several 2007 vintage Pinots from Loring Wine Company and possibly a Williams Selyem Pinot so will try to get to them in coming months.

JC, was doing some extensive cellar management yesterday and stumbled over my Friends list, of which you are one, and I noticed how many bottles of wine you own. I own even more and am currently at the point of trouble in terms of having too many wines that are ready to drink, but at least I am a family of two and I get a lot of help. You've got some serious drinking to do!

You are right Jenise--my collection has gotten out of hand. I am trying to catch up with some of the dated wines.
