2010 Wind Gap Wines Chardonnay Woodruff Vineyard - USA, California, San Francisco Bay, Santa Cruz Mountains (1/3/2017)
Developing in a very interesting way. I wish I had been more patient with my bottles, but this was the last one. It picked up a bit of a creamy edge, showed lots of citrus zest and a distinct finishing minerality. Bonus points as my Chardonnay hating wife liked it!

I can't imagine hating chardonnay. Some yes, but there are so many different styles. Understanding her love for champagne, would think she might enjoy Chablis.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Only rarely does she enjoy a small pour of Chablis. I cannot figure it out. I really wonder if she has hard-wired her brain to dislike certain wines on spec so to speak.
