Best wishes for the New Year to all my forum pals! Honestly, I don't expect 2017 to be better on the scale of national and world politics. But today I'm thinking about ways that my friends and loved ones can find joy and work for positive change, Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone. I elated that 2016 is behind me.

Chico - Hey! This Bottle is empty!
Groucho - That's because it's dry Champagne.

I can't remember ever before feeling such forebodings at the start of a New Year. I was less than one year old on 1/1/39 so I don't recall what thoughts I had then
