2001 Valsardo Reserva; Very dark black color with a bit of ruby at the edges, this wine was very sound and even young with sweet and sour cherries and a strong pipe tobacco note on both the nose and palate. A joy to drink and with lots of years ahead. abv of 13.5%

JIm, name rings a bell so I checked CT. I am amazed that your Reserva has 2 pages of notes..many v complimentary.
I had to grin at one comment.."sort of musar-like".
