Terroirist: SF Wine Trail

Nice link in today's Terroirist to a NVRegister article on the SFWineTrail:
SFWineTrail

featuring A.P.Vin, AugustWest, and (of most interest to me) Harrington. BryanHarrington has a grant from FPS to bring back interesting varieties from Europe for propagating. I have dozens of suggestions for him..grapes they should be planting all up&down the coast of Calif. Grapes like Prunent/Malvasia d'Istriana/Rossette/Zelen/Pinella/Gringet/Tazalenghe...all sorts of interesting stuff. Stuff Bryan should be dying to make varietal wines from. Jeez...I'd like to go on that trip w/ him.

Anyway...a nice read.
