2013 Limerick Lane Zinfandel Block 1910 - USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (12/13/2016)
Tasted over the course of two evenings, this is a structured, fruity and spicy Zinfandel that has the guts to cellar for more than a few years. Blackberry fruit forms the core, and the flavors expand from front to back, finishing with a firm tannic bite that calls out for time. A sappy element comes in on the finish, lingering and compelling the next sip.
