Our onion soup recipe calls for Sherry, and this w as on hand. Forgetting how it helps the soup, I am happy to have opened it. It may not be the most profound wine, but for $20 it brings plenty of enjoyment, with dried fruit, nut and slightly creamy palate character. I don't often think of Sherry as a fun drink, but this is fun.
