2008 Domaine G. Roumier / Christophe Roumier Chambolle-Musigny - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny (12/10/2016)
Not in a very friendly place right now, but several hours of air does coax out some of its potential. Initially it shows closed, with clenched fruit and high acidity. Three hours later the fruit opens up a bit, and it picks up some earthy and spicy complexity. All in all not a great time to open this wine, but the future looks brighter.
