WTN: 2011 Liquid Sky Cabernet Sauvignon; This wine from Sonoma Co. was quite attractive on first pour and throughout the meal, pizza, but a bit tannic. As it opened up an hour later, a very strong tobacco note edged with herb came to the fore-front and I loved it. Black in color with no fading and 14.9% abv, I could sniff this wine all night but the palate was almost as rewarding with spicy plum and cassis and a touch of that tobacco/herb note, very very nice. I would love to see this wine in 10 years but that will not happen.
