2015 Wilde Farm Wines Heritage Bedrock Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Valley (11/20/2016)
Last minute replacement for a different, flawed wine, so this got no prep, no air, and still showed really well. I really liked the brightness and freshness of the fruit. An additional layer of rosemary and mint added flavor interest, and the freshness/acidity kept everything lively through the finish. It certainly drinks like a Pax Mahle made wine, and I am really glad to have an additional expression of what can be done with one of California's greatest vineyards.

Field blend Bob. Lots of sin, but all sorts of other stuff.

Bedrock is an old, heritage vineyard, with lots of ungrafted vines. The common term for wines made from the site is "mixed blacks."
