2013 Dirty and Rowdy Mourvedre Shake Ridge Ranch - USA, California, Sierra Foothills, Amador County (11/17/2016)Mourvèdre as a savory essence-this embodies the umami of wine. Bright yet brooding, I cannot quite fathom how those two characteristics have managed to align, but they have here. As with prior bottles of this wine, I am fascinated and compelled.
