2014 Tercero Verbiage Blanc After a while resisting because I really liked the reds, I finally went back to try some of Larry's recent Tercero whites. The first bottle from the batch makes me glad I did. This lively Rhine blend is focused on fruit skin (peach, apple) and herbal elements. There's a hint of citrus flower floating over the top to add lift. The mouthfeel is moderately rich, and there's a lingering palate impression that recalls the fruit skin tones from the nose.

I am not generally a fan of Rhone or Rhone-inspired whites, but this is compelling.
