WTN: TwoArrowheads WW PasoRobles '13...(short/boring)

New label for me so took it for a test drive last night:
1. TwoArrowheads WW PasoRobles (13.5%; 71% Viog/29% Rouss; www.TwoArrowheads.com; Winemaker/SandyWalheim) V&B by AmericanPioneerWineGrowers, Geyserville 2013: Med.dark gold color; very strong floral/carnations/Viog/pear/peach bit spicy/nutmeg/herbal quite fragrant/perfumed nose; fairly tart strong Viog/floral/peach/pear slight earthy/tangy quite attractive flavor; very long spicy/nutmeg/Viog/pear/peach/floral slightly tart/tangy fairly rich finish; quite an attractive Rhone blend that shows the perfume of the Viog and the richness/texture of Rouss, yet not straying into DollyParton territory at all; reminds me a lot of a TablasCreekVnyd white blend; a very nice Rhone white at a very good price. $20.00 (SFW&S)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Saw this wine on the shelf, didn't recognize, so thought I'd give it a try. This is a wine from the VirginiaDareWinery, a tribute (for some reason) to the old wnry back on the EastCoast that used to make Scuppernong wine. It is a part (in some way) of the CoppolaFamily wineries. So my expectations weren't very high. Surprise/surprise...sometimes your prejudices get overthrown by the reality of what's in the glass before you. This turned out to be quite a nicely-made white Rhone blend. Glad I took the leap of faith.
