Can any body tell me about this wine it was given to me and I don't know if should or save it. It is a 1988 re'colte framboise de bourgogne

Adding to what David said, what you've got there is not really a wine but a cream liqueur, a very sweet alcoholic drink ... to get a general idea, you might compare it to Bailey's Irish Cream, but raspberry flavored. A similar bottle would probably cost $10 or $15 these days.

It really was meant to be drunk up in a year or so, never meant to be kept for almost 30 years, and as David said, it's probably pretty nasty by now. It wouldn't poison you if you tried to taste it (probably :mrgreen: ), but chances are you wouldn't enjoy it.
