2014 Domaine Vincent Paris Cornas Granit 60 - France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Cornas (11/6/2016)
Lots of fruit here. It's ripe, and yes a bit slick/well crafted, but for all that it's a delicious drink with plenty of depth. There's back end structure that gets a little bit drying, so age will be kind to the wine, as the fruit and tannins mellow towards a more elegant whole. I like this, but will put my other bottle away for a while, and be slow to open future vintages.

I was almost hoping you didn't like the wine, so I could opine "At least you had Paris."

A few years ago we really enjoyed the '07 vintage of this, but it clearly still had some years to go. I have another bottle that I will try to hold off drinking for awhile longer. Wonder if the Granit 30 is any better for early drinking?
