2013 Roses de Jeanne / Cédric Bouchard Champagne Inflorescence Blanc de Noirs Côte de Val Vilaine - France, Champagne (10/18/2016)Opened for an impromptu celebration, and right out of the gate it was delicious. Deep fruit, precise mousse, persistent flavors - everything we were looking for. We were eating light, so perhaps it was a richer wine than might have been optimal, but that was the fault of the selector (me) not the wine. We kept sipping at it after dinner, and it opened up even more with floral accents and a bit of warm wheat bread. This wine loves to be loved.

Sounds wonderful. And, thank you for the ear worm.

My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
