Yesterday I harvested a wild turkey( yah I shot it !) so tonight we had wild turkey with all the fixin's with 2010 Scherrer Sonoma Co. 2010 Chardonnay. A quite nice but not real special Chardonnay and one that might be with 5 more years on it. Poached pear dominated the palate and nose but such good acidity. There was a note of licorice on the finish. abv of 14.5%
