WTN: 1970 Graham's Vintage Port

by Paul Winalski » Tue Oct 11, 2016 11:42 am

The color is a deep, translucent purple--you wouldn't think this wine is a day over 30. The aroma has all the complexity one would expect from a top Port from a top vintage, but is a bit shy. Flavors, alcohol, and sugar are well balanced, but there is still a bit of a rough edge to the long finish. Who would have thought that, 46 years past the vintage, this Port still hasn't reached full maturity? Try this one again in 2020. Double Curly Moe with an extra Woo-Woo.

Nice! I really like the 1970 Ports.
