14.1% abv. Grapes are from hillside sites. A Betts and Scholl joint production. This wine is about juicy fruit and slightly bitter tannins. I find it an acceptable everyday Cabernet at a modest price (I paid $16.99 three years ago) but not a blockbuster. The color is dark purple-red with opacity. It might suggest both black and red fruits but my impression was of blackberries and currants. It wouldn't pair well with my entrée so I sipped it before and after dinner.
