WTN: Fabulous Napa CAbernet

This was our second bottle and I guess I was not as impressed with the first or my nose/palate was out of sorts but here goes: 2008 Alante Napa Cabernet Sauvignon; excellent nose of cassis and nice hints of chocolate/coffee. The palate blossoms with more chocolate and coffee and abundant cassis and a good hint of herbs. The tannins are mostly resolved but a few more years would not hurt here. I might have a couple more bottles but this wine is evolving so nicely that I wish I had another case!
