This French rose' wine from Pinot Noir was labeled as 13% abv. It was a pale orangey/coral color with clarity. The nose has some berry hints and something herbal or leafy. On the palate I get tart, not-fully-ripe berries and citrus notes. It was pleasant but not exceptional. The first evening I paired it with a broiled chicken breast in a tangy sauce, potato soup, and a tossed salad. The next evening I had it with sloppy joes.
