2013 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin Vieille Vigne - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin (9/4/2016)As usual with this bottling there is elegance to spare. Fourrier manages to take a muscular frame and make it beautiful, with red fruit and floral elements weaving in and out of an earthy and herbal frame. It's medium bodied and shows more acidic than tannic structure. Overall it's a pretty rendition of this wine, and while not up to the majesty of the 2010, still a fine edition.

You're the cleverest title writer around, but even then this outdid yourself. (You should have gone into advertising.)
