My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

$1 million on pu... - I mean female 'company'?

One can but admire his energy!

Good point that he scammed more, didn't even go to the bother of supply actual (although fake) wines, yet got a shorter sentence than Rudy, who didn't even benefit from female company...

I'm not making fun. I'm open mouthed at his stamina!

Profumo is a long long time ago, and all he did was have a female company who was also, unknown to him, alleged to also be sharing her favours with someone at the Russian Embassy.

What brought him down was denying the liaison in Parliament then having to admit it later. As MPs are not supposed to tell untruths he had to go.

As far as I can recall he did nothing improper with a cigar :)

What an amazingly...primitive...political ethos the Motherland has. I look at our Congresscritters, and I wonder how many of them would meet this standard.

I know...being negative again.

Our MPs are of course free to lie in most circumstances

The problem is when they are caught lying in parliament. Incidentally, neither are they allowed to call another MP a liar in parliament.
