WTN: 2010 Rhys Horseshoe Chardonnay

2010 Rhys Chardonnay Horseshoe Vineyard - USA, California, San Francisco Bay, Santa Cruz Mountains (8/28/2016)
Second bottle of this in the last 2 months, and this one showed much more spice than the last. Still plenty of pear and citrus fruit, but the spice took center stage. The acids were right there, keeping things lively, so it was still a lot of fun to drink. Given the radically different showings of the 2 bottles I opened this summer I would say this wine has more evolving to do.

Good to know. I think I have a bottle of this. That is, I own two Rhys chards, and they're 10-11 time frames, and one is a Horseshoe. I'll have to check.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
