NYTimes: Asimov on FrankCornelissen

Interesting article in today's NYTimes on Etna winemaker Frank Cornelissen:
Asimov:Cornelissen

whose goal is to "make wine with cultural baggage". Not exactly sure what that means.

I've only had a couple of his wines, just to see what all the buzz was about. Was not impressed. "Interesting" was about all I could say.

I have more tolerance/interest in "interesting" wines, but I shared them with friends who were less impressed.

I'm pretty interested in interesting wines :)
I might be happier with a good and especially interesting wine than a very good wine that I was more familiar with
I might even be happier with an especially interesting wine with only modest pleasure than a good wine that I was more familiar with,
But my 3 Cornelissen experiences have been: undrinkable, flawed but drinkable, and good. At those prices happy to try on someone else's dime
