Opened the 2012 Chateau de Vaudieu Chateauneuf du Pape tonight to see where the rest of a case of this might be going. I am glad I did as this wine has great potential. Very drinkable now with some air (1/2 hr.) the Grenache is taking center stage now but all the other elements are there for lots of development. The palate is full of sweet cherry and lots of herbs, maybe oregano, but all is working together. abv of 15% and imported by Eric Solomon. I am impressed!
