Holdredge PinotGris LateHrvst Grace'sCuvee RRV (SaH: 36 Brix; RS: 10.0%; 14.4%) John&Carri Holdredge/Healdsburg 2005: Deep gold some cloudy color; very intense peachy/botrytis/apricotty slight Loire-like nose; quite sweet very tart bit alcoholic/hot very intense botrytis/peachy/apricotty flavor; very long/lingering intense botrytis/peachy/apricotty bit alcoholic finish; all about very intense botrytis and showing no signs of evolution/complexity yet; needs more age to show some nuance.

When we visited John, probably 2008, we bought some of this nectar, along with some of his zins and PN's.. Spent some time with his charming wife and their kids as well while John was driving his forklift around..
