Betsy is in Maine. I was left with Dave, Grace, and the hound, I concentrated on emptying fridge of leftovers (sausage, chicken, lamb).

2013 Seguin “La Place” Fixin
Black cherry and raspberry, some rose petal, but oak is rather intrusive. Would have been a nice wine with less wood. B-/C+

2001 Finca Museum “Museum Real Reserva” (Cigales)

Lots of wood here, tastes like modern Rioja, but oak is smoother and more integrated than the Fixin. Raspberry, mocha, floral notes. B

2015 Vie Vite rose (Cotes du Provence )
Odd bottle (squared off shoulders), inoffensive lighter styled, cherries and strawberries.B-

2015 Lauer “Barrel X” Riesling
Zippy, electric, limeade over slatey rocks. Nice for level. B+

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was only choice.Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.
